None are made in the U.S. at this time. Some are scheduled to be built using GM tooling, but thats as close as it gets right now. All are made in Taiwan ,and yes, they are very high quality panels,as are Golden Legion. The only comparison I have seen to the playability of this neck was on a vintage 1977 Stratocaster. The finish on this guitar is great. It allows some of the natural wood to show through and will wear nicely. In today's market with some after market upgrades this guitar will be much nicer than a Chinese Fender for nearly double the price. Jan 9, 2019 · Probably quite a bit better unless it's a poor design to begin with. There's no reason why a Fender made in China can't be just as good as a Fender made anywhere else. With the exception of Custom Shop they're all just mass manufactured instruments anyway. I doubt it matters much if the CNC machine is in China or anywhere else. .
